FDIC Closes Four U.S Banks

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has closed four U.S. banks.

    TheFederal Deposit Insurance Corporation(FDIC)hasclosed四个美国银行,The Wall Street Journalreports. In Georgia,High Trust BankandOne Georgia Bankhave been shut down.

    Ameris Bancorpwill acquire the deposits and assets of both the banks. The regulators also closed theFirst Peoples Bankof Florida, whose assets will be assumed byPremier American Bank, andSummit Bankof Arizona, whose deposits will be acquired byFoothills Bank.
