Indonesia Power Plants Get $300M Loan

The World Bank has granted a loan worth $300 million for two geothermal powers plants in Indonesia.

    TheWorld Bankhas granted a loan worth $300 million for two geothermal powers plants in Indonesia, The Wall Street Journalreports. The lender will be working withPertamina Energyto boost power generation capacity of two plants in Ulubelu, South Sumatra and Lahendong, North Sulawesi.

    The project is scheduled to be completed by 2015. The project is part of a proposal to provide more clean energy in country.
