NSE Plans Dow Jones, S&P Options Launch
The National Stock Exchange is seeking to partner with CME Group to roll out option contracts based on U.S. indexes.
TheNational Stock Exchange(NSE) is seeking to partner withCME Groupto roll out option contracts based on U.S. indexes,Business Standardreports. NSE will be able to float futures and options on both theS&P500and theDow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) Indexupon completion of the deal.
As per the current deal between the two entities, the exchange is only permitted to launch futures contracts on DJIA. NSE is also in discussions with theLondon Stock Exchangeto launch derivative contracts based onFTSE100.
