BNP Paribas Names U.K. Fixed Income Head

BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Bankinghas appointedMartin Eganas U.K. head of fixed income,The Wall Street Journalreports. In his new role, he will work under Chairman of BNP Paribas in the U.K.Ludovic de Montilleand global head of fixed incomeFrederic Janbon.

Egan, who is currently global head of primary markets and origination, will additionally take on the new role. The appointment is part of the French bank’s strategy to enhance its U.K. issuer and investor client franchise.
