Pantheon Buys PE Portfolio From Hermes

U.K. fund-of-funds manager Pantheon has acquired a private equity fund portfolio valued between €600 million and €1 billion.

    U.K. fund-of-funds (FoFs) managerPantheonhas acquired a private equity fund portfolio valued between €600 million and €1 billion,NASDAQreports. Private equity FoFs managerHermes GPEsold the portfolio mainly made up of buyout funds.

    The transaction was managed internally instead of by an intermediary. Hermes GPE, which runs over €5.73 billion of capital in private equity, is invested in 235 funds and more than 40 co-investments worldwide.
