Vodafone To Sell £400M India Unit Stake
Vodafone Group is selling a 5.5% stake in its Indian unit to Piramal Healthcare.
Vodafone Groupis selling a 5.5% stake in its Indian unit toPiramal Healthcare,The Wall Street Journalreports. The telecommunications company will receive a total of around £400 million for the sale.
Following the transaction, Vodafone’s holding in its Indian operations will come down to 69.8%. The remaining stake is owned by entities that are majority-owned and controlled by Vodafone’s other Indian partners.
