Tommy Young is joining Aegon UK as COO of its life and pensions business.
Tommy Youngis joiningAegon UKas COO of its life and pensions business,Professional Pensionsreports. He will take over his new responsibilities fromSimon Skinner, who has been appointed CEO ofAegon Ireland.
Young will be responsible for cutting Aegon’s costs by 25% over 2011 and will manage the sale of closed life operationsGuardiantoCinven. He was earlier governance and controls director of Aegon’s sales and distribution business.
