Legg Mason will make its U.S. equity income fund available to U.K. retail investors.
Legg Masonwill make its U.S. equity income fund available to U.K. retail investors,Investment Weekreports. TheLegg Mason U.S. Equity Incomefund was previously only available to U.S. investors and managed by its New York-based subsidiaryClearBridge Advisors.
The fund will be made available in mid-October and replicate the $4 billionU.S. Equity Income Builderfund, handled for U.S. investors byHersh Cohen,Peter VanderleeandMichael Clarfeld.
