CME To Roll Out API6 Coal Futures

CME Group’sNew York Mercantile Exchangewill roll out API 6 coal swap futures. The new product will help expand risk management and trading opportunities for thermal coal in Asia-Pacific.

The new swap futures will be available for trading throughCME ClearPorton September 12. The futures will be based on theAPI 6index, an Australian coal export benchmark published byArgus MediaandIHS McCloskey.
