French brokerage Newedge has hired Françoise Guillaume as global COO and deputy CEO.
French brokerageNewedgehas hiredFrançoise Guillaumeas global COO and deputy CEO,Financial Newsreports. Based in Paris, she will also be a member of the board of the executive committee of global multi-asset brokerage and clearing house.
In the newly created position, Guillaume will be responsible for ensuring the strategic alignment of these groups with the goals of the firm, coordinating cross-function initiatives and supporting business line activity, addsHedgeWeek. She joins Newedge fromSociété Générale, where most recently she was CFO forSG Group Management Resources.
