Fortress Commodities Fund Up 6% In Aug

Fortress Commodities Offshore Fundincreased 6 percent in August,Bloombergreports. The commodity hedge fund has gained nearly 1.8 percent in the current year. Funds managed byClive CapitalandBlueGold Capital Managementfell 0.2 percent and 12 percent, respectively.

TheStandard & Poor’sGSCI Index, which measures movements in commodity prices, lost 1.85 percent. Gold rose 12 percent to $1,825.72 an ounce last month.
