MSSB Hires Three Merrill Advisers

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney(MSSB) has appointedMatthew Wallace,Melanie RegnerandGeorge Wallacefor its Raleigh, North Carolina operations,The Wall Street Journalreports. The trio will work underHolly Crockett, who is complex manager for the MSSB Blue Ridge branch.

Previously, they all worked withMerrill Lynch & Co.as advisers. The three advisers have $220 million in assets under management and $1.8 million in annual production. They have all worked with Merrill for at least 10 years.
