Cartesian Co-Founder To Quit

David Stevenson, co-founder of Ignis Asset Management joint venture Cartesian Capital Partners, is quitting the firm to pursue other opportunities.

    David Stevenson, co-founder ofIgnis Asset Managementjoint ventureCartesian Capital Partners, is quitting the firm to pursue other opportunities,Financial Timesreports. He set up the equity investment boutique withAndrew Kelly,Jeremy HallandSusan Rafferty, as a 50/50 joint venture with Ignis in 2005, addsCitywire.

    Stevenson’s £57.1 millionCartesian U.K. Opportunitiesfund will now be managed by Hall, who will be supported by Kelly. He will leave Cartesian on December 31. Previously, Stevenson worked with Edinburgh-based asset managerSVM Asset Management.
