Box Raises $81M In VC Financing

Cloud storage provider Box has raised $81 million in its fourth round of venture capital financing.

    Cloud storage providerBoxhas raised $81 million in its fourth round of venture capital financing. Strategic investorssalesforce.comandSAP Venturesprovided the financing, along withBessemer Venture PartnersandNew Enterprise Associates.

    Existing investors includingAndreessen HorowitzandDraper Fisher Jurvetson Growthalso participated. With the new investment, the capital raised by Box has gone up to $162 million. Seven million individuals and 100,000 businesses use the Box service to share and manage content in the cloud.
