NPRF Sells BOI Stakes For €1B
Ireland’s National Pensions Reserve Fund has completed a €1 billion sale of a part of its stake in Bank of Ireland.
Ireland’sNational Pensions Reserve Fund(NPRF) has completed a €1 billion sale of a part of its stake inBank of Ireland(BoI),IPEreports. The stake was sold to a group of North American investors led by Canada’sFairfax Financial Holdings.
WL Ross & Co.,Capital Research and Management Co.,忠诚andKennedy-Wilson Holdingsare among the other buyers, addsIrish Times. The move will cut the government’s holding in the bank from 42.1 percent to 15.1 percent.
