Fidelity Boosts Multi-Manager Team

Fidelity Worldwide Investmenthas boosted its multi-manager team with the appointment, effective January, ofJames Bateman,FundWebreports. In the new role, he will manage the current multi-manager team of three unfettered portfolio managers.

Bateman will also drive the formulation of the manager selection procedure for the global equity products managed by the firm’s London office. At present, he is serving as vice-president of multi-manager and fund research at巴克莱财富. At Barclays he manages approximately £2.3 billion spread across five multi-manager funds.
