Cowen and Co. Names CEO

Cowen and Co., the broker dealer platform of Cowen Group, has named Jeffrey Solomon as CEO.

    Cowen and Co., the broker dealer platform ofCowen Group, has namedJeffrey Solomonas CEO. He will manage all of the U.S. lender’s businesses including investment banking, capital markets, sales and trading and research.

    Solomon will be assisted by a team includingChris McCabe,Kevin Raidy,Kevin Reynolds,John O’Donoghue,Tom O’MaraandBarry Tarasoff. Previously, Solomon was COO of Cowen Group and head of investment banking at Cowen and Co.
