CFSGAM Floats Two EQ Income Funds

Global asset managerColonial First State Group Asset Management(CFSGAM) has rolled out two new tax-aware equity income funds,Financial Standardreports. Building on the firm’s existingWholesale Equity Income Fundand tax-aware investment capabilities, the funds have been launched to draw more investors.

TheColonial First State Global Asset Management Wholesale Equity Income Fund- Superannuationand theWholesale Equity Income Fund - Tax Exemptfunds will be overseen by the existing team of senior portfolio managerRudi Minbatiwalaand portfolio managerJason Moodie. The superannuation fund aims to attract superannuation investors, whereas the tax exempt vehicle has been developed for zero taxpayers comprising charities, pension funds and some government-related entities.
