Trading technology providerMarketPrizmhas appointedRalph Achkaras a director of product management,Financial Newsreports. In his new role, he will be reporting to the firm's chief technology officerJacob Lindeman.

Recently, Achkar was co-head of sales at share trading platformTurquoisealong withOriol Pujol. The duo left the firm after the platform was acquired by theLondon Sock Exchange. Achkar joins MarketPrizm six months after U.K. telecommunications firmColt Technology Services Groupacquired a majority stake in the firm from agency brokerInstinet.
