Dymon Appoints Managing Director

Singapore-based hedge fundDymon Asia Capitalhas addedRajesh Ramanas its managing director,Bloombergreports. The formerBrevan Howard Asset Managementportfolio manager will join the fastest-growing hedge fund in Singapore in December. Dymon’s assets stood at about $1.9 billion last month.

Raman will mainly concentrate on trading foreign exchange and rates. Previously, he managed an Asian macro portfolio for theBrevan Howard Master Fundand later became an adviser to the fund. Raman has also worked atJPMorgan Chase & Co.,Deutsche BankandRohatyn Group.
