Illinois-based Hometown America, a privately held company, has bought the Oak Point over-55 residential complex for $55 million.

    Illinois-based家乡美国a, a privately held company, has bought theOak Pointover-55 residential complex for $55 million,Enterprise Newsreports. The company owns and manages in excess of 100 manufactured housing communities across the nation.

    The Oak Point complex comprises freestanding manufactured homes including a club house, fitness center and ballroom. Similar communities owned by Hometown in Massachusetts includeLeisurewoodsin Taunton and in Rockland,Oakhillin Attleboro andMiller’s WoodsandRiver Bendin Athol.
