Barclays Bankplchas appointedAndrew Richardsas head of financial sponsor for Asia-Pacific (Apac),Bloombergreports. He will work from the U.K. financial services provider’s Hong Kong office.
Richards joins from New York–based securities firmMorgan Stanley, where he was most recently a managing director of European financial sponsors group. He also directedBain Capital’s takeover ofBellsystem24in 2009 andLion Capital’s takeover of French frozen-food retailing firmPicard Surgeles.
