Global venture capital firmNew Enterprise Associates(NEA) has appointedAlex Kinnieras partner. Based in NEA’s East Coast offices in Chevy Chase, Maryland and New York City, he will handle early-stage investments in consumer Internet and information technology.

Before joining NEA, Kinnier was a partner with venture capital firmKhosla Venturesand focused on clean, information and consumer Internet technology investments. Formerly, he also served at search and advertising services providerGoogleas group product manager and was co-founder and CEO ofOcular Technologies. He has also been withProcter & Gamble.
