克罗特回家了

上个月,他的三年义务,克罗特制作了返回之旅,在机构经纪人Fimat Fimat Fimat作为Coo。Fimat, a unit of Paris-based Société Générale, "has grown quickly in the U.S. over the past several years," notes Kloet, 45, who will split his time between the firm's offices in Chicago, where he lives, and New York, the home base of the 450-employee operation. "Fimat began as a futures commission merchant and has greatly expanded its horizons -- not unlike what I was seeing in Singapore," he adds. In Singapore, Kloet merged the equities and futures markets on a single platform and oversaw the exchange's conversion from mutual to stockholder ownership in a November 2000 IPO. By the time he handed the SGX reins over to former PrimePartners Asset Management chief Hsieh Fu Hua in March, Kloet had gained the rare distinction of having run both exchange and broker-dealer operations, spanning cash markets and derivatives. "Customers are less and less sensitive to what the product is that they are trading," says Kloet, a former Chicago Mercantile Exchange director who recently joined the Chicago Stock Exchange board. "What's important is that it meet investment objectives and risk management requirements, and Fimat is well positioned to help clients that way."
