Jana’s February Rebound Puts It Back in Positive Territory
After a tough January, Barry Rosenstein’s activist hedge fund firm posted big gains last month thanks in part to a new position.
Barry Rosenstein, Jana Partners (Bloomberg) Barry Rosenstein’s Jana Partners rebounded sharply in February from a tough January, thanks to big gains from its newest activist target. As a result, the New York–based hedge fund firm’s eponymous hedge fund is up 1.8 percent for the year. Jana Partners gained 6.7 percent in February.
