Perot Family Office Hires CIO
Boaz Sidikaro has left hedge fund firm Och-Ziff to join Perot Investments.
Family office Perot Investments has hired a former hedge fund manager to serve as chief investment officer.
Boaz Sidikaro, who most recently worked as an executive managing director and partner at Och-Ziff Capital Management Group, is now CIO of Perot Investments, according to the Dallas-based family office's website. A spokesperson for Perot Investments, which manages Ross Perot’s fortune, did not return a phone call seeking comment.
The Wall Street Journalbroke the news Monday that Perot Investments found a new CIO to replaceSteve Blasnik. Prince Houston Group, the recruitment firm that helped the family office search for a new CIO, confirmed the hire.
Sidikaro spent about 20 years at Oz, having joined in 1998. At Oz, Sidikaro was responsible for day-to-day portfolio and risk management for the firm’s U.S. equities business, Perot’s website shows. He also served as a senior advisor to the chief executive officer and management at the firm.

Prior to his role as partner at Oz, Sidikaro worked on the firm’s credit team and was involved in private investments, according to Perot's website. A spokesperson for Oz Management did not return an email seeking comment.
Before joining Oz, Sidikaro worked in the mergers, acquisitions and restructuring department at Morgan Stanley, Perot’s website shows. Sidikaro did not respond to a LinkedIn message seeking comment.
Blasnik, who was president of Perot Investments from 1992 to 2019, will continue to serve as a director of Petrus Trust Company, as well as a senior advisor to Perot Investments and Petrus Asset Management, the firm’s website shows.
